It is not even 9 o’clock in the morning yet, and I have already said an exasperated No! (sometimes accompanied by a shake of the fist) at least 5 times today.
The first No! came with my alarm clock.
The second No! came when a car decided it needed to turn right at a very busy intersection on my way to work. It suddenly crossed two lanes of traffic and then sat in my lane while it waited for someone to let it into the turning lane (controled by a red arrow). NO!
Then another car tried to sneak up behind me and get in front of me while waiting for a light. NO!
And then I heard two stories on NPR that both caused a big NO! Not Acceptable!
And when I got to my office at work, my door was blocked by my chair and the garbage can was in the middle of the floor because the cleaning crew can’t be bothered to put them back where they belong. This happens every. single. day. NO!
Usually all of these little things are taken in stride, but I guess I have a case of the Mondays.
